Local Procurement Officer, Kuwait| On-site | Full-time
- You will will manage local purchasing activities, including supplier sourcing and evaluation, quotation analysis, commercial negotiation, purchase-order processing, and delivery follow-up.
- The role requires close coordination with project teams, internal departments, suppliers, and warehouses to ensure that materials and equipment are delivered on time, at the required quality, and at the most competitive cost.
What You Bring
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and Logistics, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in local procurement within the construction or contracting sector.
* Good knowledge of Kuwait's local supplier market, construction materials, equipment, and major industry vendors.
* Proven experience in supplier sourcing, evaluation, commercial comparison, negotiation, and purchase-order processing.
* Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure competitive prices and favourable commercial terms.
* Good understanding of purchasing, delivery, receiving, invoicing, and payment processes.
* Strong communication, problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
* A CIPS qualification or equivalent procurement certification is preferred.
