Location: Kuwait

Note:
Candidates must currently be in Kuwait holding a valid Article 18 transferable visa
Immediate availability is required
Oil & Gas field experience is mandatory
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to support maintenance and mechanical operations within the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in mechanical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment, with the ability to work safely in field and rig site environments.
Key Responsibilities:
-Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems
-Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities as per company procedures
-Troubleshoot mechanical faults and provide effective solutions
-Perform mechanical fitting, alignment, and assembly works
-Conduct equipment inspection and ensure proper functioning of machinery
-Read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and technical documents
-Assist in overhauling and servicing of pumps, valves, motors, and other mechanical equipment
-Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and safety procedures during maintenance activities
-Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
-Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other maintenance personnel to complete assigned tasks
-Follow company HSE policies, permit-to-work systems, and safety standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
-Diploma / ITI / Technical certification in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred)
-Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Fitter in the Oil & Gas industry
-Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance and industrial equipment
-Experience in fitting, fabrication, alignment, and equipment servicing
-Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively
-Knowledge of pumps, valves, compressors, and rotating equipment is preferred
-Good understanding of HSE procedures and safe work practices
-Ability to communicate effectively in English
-Physically fit to work in field and industrial environments
Preferred:
Experience with KOC / Oil & Gas maintenance projects
Knowledge of PTW systems and HSE standards
Experience working in rig sites or heavy industrial environments
