Job Opportunity: HSE Officer / Safety Officer (Oil & Gas)
Location: Kuwait
Availability: Immediate Joiner
Note:
-Candidates must currently be in Kuwait holding a valid Article 18 transferable visa
-Immediate availability required
-Experience in Oil & Gas field safety is mandatory
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HSE Officer / Safety Officer to ensure full compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental standards across Oil & Gas project sites. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety procedures, conducting inspections, and ensuring all site activities are carried out in accordance with approved HSE policies, client requirements, and international safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and enforce all HSE policies and procedures at site
Conduct daily site inspections, safety audits, and hazard identification
Ensure compliance with permit-to-work system and risk assessment requirements
Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training for workers
Investigate incidents, near misses, and prepare detailed reports with root cause analysis
Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices across all activities
Coordinate with project, construction, and site teams to resolve safety issues
Maintain HSE documentation, records, and daily safety reports
Ensure compliance with client and regulatory authority safety requirements
Support emergency preparedness and response procedures at site
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory preferred) or equivalent HSE qualification
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Oil & Gas HSE/Safety roles
Strong knowledge of industrial safety standards and procedures
Experience in construction, maintenance, or pipeline projects preferred
Good communication and reporting skills in English
Ability to work in high-risk field environments and manage safety under pressure
Preferred:
Experience in Kuwait Oil & Gas projects (KOC / KNPC / major EPC contractors)
Familiarity with PTW systems, JSA, HIRA, and emergency response planning
Strong field presence and leadership in safety enforcement
