Senior Accountant

Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant role located in Kuwait City. The Senior Accountant will manage daily accounting operations, prepare financial statements and reports, oversee budgeting and forecasting, and ensure regulatory compliance. Additional responsibilities include analyzing financial data, providing recommendations for financial performance improvement, and collaborating with other departments to support overall business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial records.
Monitor client trust accounts in compliance with legal trust accounting regulations.
Handle accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and payroll processing.
Prepare financial reports and statements (monthly, quarterly, annually).
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Ensure tax compliance and coordinate with external auditors.
Provide financial analysis and support to legal partners and management.

In addition to standard accounting duties, the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting regular (audit and review) of financial activities and processes related to MyCare Home Service, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with relevant healthcare and financial regulations.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or ACCA is an asset.
At least 4 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in both legal and healthcare sectors.
Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and industry-specific regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
Experience in auditing or internal review processes is strongly preferred.
High attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality.
Bilingual (Arabic/English) is a plus, especially for reporting and audit documentation.
