- SAFETY ENGINEER
Job Summary:
To ensure a safe working environment at project sites by implementing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and company HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and monitor project-specific HSE plans and procedures.
* Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and recommend control measures.
* Ensure compliance with local safety regulations, client requirements, and company policies.
* Carry out site safety inspections, audits, and daily safety walks.
* Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
* Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training sessions for site personnel.
* Monitor and ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
* Coordinate with project teams to ensure safe execution of work activities.
* Maintain all HSE documentation, records, and reports.
* Liaise with regulatory authorities and client representatives on safety matters.
* Promote a safety culture and ensure continuous improvement in safety performance.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial) or equivalent.
* Professional certifications such as NEBOSH IGC / IOSH preferred.
* 10 years of experience in construction, oil & gas, or industrial projects
* Proven experience in project site safety management.
* Indian and Philippine nationalities are preferred.
