Description

The Restaurant Manager is the primary corporate representative in the restaurant location, responsible for serving as an Ambassador for the brand and a role model for employees and the community for the unique values. Must demonstrate leadership ability to create a happy and efficient work culture in the restaurant that makes our guests and staff feel welcome and well served.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
1. Operational Management
- Oversee all restaurant operations (FOH & BOH) to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Monitor daily shift activities, ensuring proper staffing, workflow, and task execution.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of all restaurant areas.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and food safety standards.
- Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and storage of goods according to company procedures.

2. Staff Management & Training
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate team members across FOH and BOH.
- Create weekly staff schedules and ensure proper shift coverage.
- Conduct regular training on customer service, food handling, and operational procedures.
- Motivate and support staff to maintain a positive work environment and high performance.
- Address staff issues, conflicts, and disciplinary actions when required.

3. Customer Service & Guest Satisfaction
- Ensure excellent guest experience and handle customer complaints professionally.
- Monitor service quality and implement improvements as needed.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and promote brand loyalty.

4. Food Quality & Safety
- Ensure all menu items meet brand standards in portioning, presentation, and quality.
- Conduct regular BOH checks to maintain food safety, hygiene, and kitchen efficiency.
- Collaborate with chefs to maintain consistency and address any kitchen-related issues.

5. Financial & Administrative Responsibilities
- Monitor daily sales, labor costs, food costs, and other operational expenses.
- Prepare daily/weekly reports for management.
- Manage cash handling, POS operations, and bank deposits.
- Identify opportunities to reduce waste and increase profitability.

6. Compliance & Standards
- Ensure restaurant meets all health, safety, and municipality requirements.
- Maintain company SOPs and brand guidelines at all times.
- Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions.

7. Leadership & Communication
- Lead by example and maintain a professional, respectful environment.
- Communicate effectively with staff, management, and external stakeholders.
- Participate in operational meetings and contribute to improvement strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent knowledge of FOH and BOH operations.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to manage a diverse team and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in POS systems, scheduling, and reporting tools.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Hiring in Kuwait only.
