About the job
This is a full-time on-site role for a Restaurant Manager. Will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, financial performance, service standards, and team leadership of the restaurant. This role requires strong operational control, people management, cost awareness, and the ability to make decisions under pressure while protecting the brand and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth, efficient service
- Ensure consistent food quality, service standards, and cleanliness
- Manage opening and closing procedures
- Resolve operational issues during service hours
- Ensure compliance with company policies and brand standards
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise restaurant staff
- Conduct performance evaluations and disciplinary actions when required
- Motivate and lead the team to maintain high morale and productivity
- Manage staff attendance, punctuality, and performance
- Resolve staff conflicts professionally and fairly
- Customer Experience & Complaint Handling
- Ensure excellent guest experience at all times
- Handle escalated customer complaints and service recovery
- Monitor customer feedback and online reviews
- Train staff on customer service and upselling techniques
- Control food cost, beverage cost, and labor cost
- Reduce waste, theft, and over-ordering
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
- Inventory & Supplier Management
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock counts
- Place orders and coordinate with suppliers and vendors
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Prepare for health inspections and audits
- Enforce HACCP and safety procedures
- Ensure all licenses, permits, and certifications are valid and updated
- Support marketing initiatives and promotional activities
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and improve efficiency
- Improve average check value, table turnover, and guest retention
- Analyze sales trends and customer behavior
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Solid understanding of food & beverage operations
- Experience with cost control, budgeting, and reporting
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and labor laws
