About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Purchase Category Officer to manage procurement activities, monitor inventory, and ensure smooth coordination between departments. The ideal candidate will have a medical or pharmaceutical background, strong organizational skills, and fluency in both Arabic and English.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Raise and ensure purchase orders are approved in line with company policies.
- Receive and verify purchase orders based on approved goods receipt notes/delivery documents.
- Monitor inventory levels and address issues related to expiry, overstock, and slow-moving items.
- Coordinate effectively with Marketing, Finance, Warehouse, IT, and Supply Chain departments.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree; Pharmacist graduate preferred.
- Medical or pharmaceutical background required.
- Previous experience in Kuwait is preferred.
- Experience in makeup/perfume retail or procurement is a plus.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of purchasing principles and inventory management.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Active and engaged social media presence is desirable.
