Project Engineer – MEW Projects
Location: Kuwait
Job Type: Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead and coordinate the execution of civil engineering projects from planning and mobilization through completion. The ideal candidate should have strong project execution experience and a proven track record in handling projects of similar nature, scope, and value.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in civil engineering and project execution
- Proven experience in executing projects similar in nature, scope, and value
- Experience in MEW projects is preferred
- Strong experience in project/site management and construction coordination
- Good knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications, and construction procedures
- Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors
- Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple project activities and meet deadlines
- Must be available throughout the contract period
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee day-to-day project execution activities
- Manage project activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, schedules, and contractual requirements
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of project milestones
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and internal project teams
- Review technical drawings, specifications, method statements, and project documentation
- Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved designs, quality standards, and safety requirements
- Identify and resolve technical, construction, and site-related issues
- Coordinate with engineering and site teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and other project resources
- Ensure proper coordination between civil, structural, and other related disciplines
- Prepare and review progress reports, technical reports, and project documentation
- Attend project meetings and provide updates on project progress and requirements
- Follow up on inspections, approvals, and technical submissions
- Ensure project activities are completed within the approved schedule and budget
- Support project management in addressing contractual and technical requirements
- Ensure compliance with applicable project standards, specifications, and regulations
