experienced professional to lead our import procurement function - someone who treats supplier negotiations as a
competitive sport and sees a documentary credit as second nature.
The Role: Procurement & Logistics Supervisor - Import
Kuwait | On-site | Full-time
- You will oversee end-to-end external procurement operations — from reviewing technical
purchase requests to managing shipping, customs clearance, and final warehouse delivery. You'll
be the critical link between our operational needs and the global supply chain.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 7-10 years of hands-on experience in international Procurement& Logistics within
construction / contracting projects.
- Strong practical experience in end-to-end import procurement cycles (RFQ -> negotiation ->
PO -> shipping -> clearance -> delivery).
- Proven expertise in Documentary Credits (L/Cs), Incoterms, and international trade finance.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage international suppliers with a focus on cost,
delivery, and risk mitigations.
- Experience in handling critical and time-sensitive shipments under operational pressure.
- Exposure to supplier evaluation, vendor development, and contract administration.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar).
- Solid understanding of Kuwait customs regulations and clearance procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with projects, finance, warehouses, and freight forwarders.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is an added advantage.
