Urgently hiring (Gaming & Lifestyle Product Specialist)

The Gaming & Lifestyle Product Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end execution of product strategy & category management for selected Gaming and Pop Culture/Anime merchandise categories. This role combines buying, product lifecycle management, and performance analysis to ensure our assortment remains ahead of market trends.

Key Responsibilities Summary:
Product Lifecycle & Launch Management
- Coordinate the end-to-end product lifecycle, from initial sourcing and data entry to launch and clearance.
- Ensure timely product launches by working closely with marketing, supply chain, and retail teams to have a smooth and successful launch for physical stores as well as digital channels.
- Maintain competitiveness & profitability of assigned categories throughout the lifecycle.

Sourcing & Commercial Execution
- Identify and source trending merchandise from global and local suppliers, focusing on "Lifestyle" categories such as apparel, figurines, and limited-edition collectibles.
- Assist in negotiating commercial terms, pricing, and promotional support with vendors to maximize margin.
- Maintain and grow relationships with key brands & industry partners.
- Be available at any time to react and address actions due to market conditions.
- Participate in company events and execute upper management requests.

Analytics & Inventory Management
- Monitor and analyze daily sales performance, stock levels, and inventory health (turnover and aging).
- Conduct regular competitor and market analysis within the gaming and merchandise sectors to identify price gaps or new category opportunities.
- Forecast demand for upcoming releases to ensure optimal inventory levels across all retail touchpoints.
- Prepare weekly and monthly KPI reports as required.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Sales Revenue vs. Target: Achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets for the Gaming and Lifestyle categories.
- Gross Margin %: Maintaining healthy profit margins through effective negotiation and smart pricing strategies.
- Inventory Turn & Sell-Through Rate: Maximizing the speed at which stock is sold, particularly for time-sensitive "hype" merchandise and new game releases.
- Stock Health & Aging: Minimizing overstock and ensuring older inventory is moved through timely promotional actions.
- Market Competitiveness: Regularity and accuracy of competitor price-benchmarking reports.

Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in retailing, specifically in the product management, category management, and procurement scope of work.
- Industry Expertise: Direct experience in the Gaming or Pop Culture/Anime retail industry is required. You must have a genuine passion for and deep knowledge of current gaming trends and fan culture.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in MS-Office, Google apps, Odoo ERP, AI Agents.
- Communication: Fluency in English & Chinese.

Location & renumeration:
Location: Hybrid, 25% Kuwait, 75% abroad. (Negotiable)

Requirements
• 1+ years of experience in Product Management
• Working in a remote setting
• 1+ years of Computer Games experience
