Job Title: F&B Cost Controller
Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive F&B Cost Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, analysing, and controlling food and beverage costs to ensure profitability and compliance with company standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and good knowledge of inventory and cost control procedures in the food & beverage industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control food and beverage costs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Perform regular inventory checks, variance analysis, and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare and analyse cost reports, consumption patterns, and wastage reports.
• Verify daily sales, purchases, transfers, and ensure accurate stock records.
• Work closely with the Purchasing Department and Kitchen/Restaurant Managers to ensure cost-effective procurement and stock management.
• Develop and implement policies for cost control, stock handling, and waste management.
• Assist in menu engineering by analysing item profitability and cost percentage.
• Prepare and update recipe cards with accurate costing, portion sizes, and standardization.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and financial guidelines.
• Provide regular reports to management highlighting areas of concern and recommending corrective actions.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in cost control within the F&B/restaurant/hospitality sector.
• Strong knowledge of cost analysis, inventory systems, and F&B operations.
• Hands-on experience in recipe card preparation and costing.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and POS/ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
