Position Title: Cost Controller - Hospitality Industry
Location: Kuwait

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Cost Controller to join our hotel finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and controlling food, beverage, and operating costs, ensuring accurate inventory management, conducting cost analysis, and supporting management in maximizing profitability while maintaining operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and control Food & Beverage costs and other operational expenses.
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cost analysis and variance reporting.
Review and verify inventory transactions, stock movements, and receiving procedures.
Perform regular physical inventory counts and reconciliations.
Ensure proper costing of menu items and recipes.
Analyze consumption patterns and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Review purchase orders, invoices, and supplier pricing to ensure compliance with company policies.
Prepare monthly cost reports and management summaries.
Work closely with Purchasing, Stores, Kitchen, and Finance teams to maintain cost control procedures.
Monitor waste, spoilage, and stock discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and company standards.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Cost Controller, preferably within hotels, resorts, or hospitality operations.
Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage cost control principles.
Experience with inventory management systems and hotel accounting software.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prepare detailed reports and present findings to management.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
