Job Title: Business Intelligence Professional

Scope of Work / Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and maintain BI dashboards and analytics solutions
- Manage and optimize BI performance and usability to achieve desired outcomes
- Monitor reports and dashboards; implement required enhancements and fixes
- Collect, cleanse, refine, and prepare data for analytics and visualization
- Understand business requirements and plan BI solutions to meet data needs
- Manage and utilize BI platforms to extract meaningful insights
- Prepare reports using various visualization and data modeling techniques
- Define new KPIs and ensure consistent measurement across datasets
- Integrate and customize data from multiple data sources
- Perform UAT, publish dashboards and reports, and schedule data refreshes
- Conduct drill-down analysis and deliver highly accurate reports
- Create wireframes and beta dashboards with strong focus on UX, accuracy, and clarity
- Improve end-to-end data management processes, including collection, design, and lifecycle management
- Troubleshoot and resolve data quality, performance, and workbook-related issues
- Resolve end-user issues related to dashboards, reports, and data access
- Perform data modeling, visualizations (charts, graphs, maps), and tabular reporting
- Work closely with the Finance team to develop performance dashboards and analytics
- Lead the development of cross-channel dashboards using data visualization tools
- Deliver data-driven storytelling through compelling presentations and visuals
- Support data source connections, data imports, transformations, and BI workflows.

Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data preparation and BI projects
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, Excel, PL/SQL, and ETL tools
- Solid understanding of BI concepts, tools, and platforms
- Experience in translating business requirements into BI solutions and data models
- Proficient in writing complex SQL/PL-SQL queries
- Experience working with Filters, Groups, Sets, Bins, and Parameters
- Experience with Hierarchies, Table Calculations, Action Filters, and Context Filters
- Hands-on experience implementing charts, graphs, and geographical visualisations (including unrecognised location data)

Exposure to Power BI Server / Tableau Server, including:
- User, group, and site management
- Permission settings
- Alerts and subscriptions
- End-to-end server administration and maintenance
- Knowledge of prototyping, dashboard design, and requirement analysis
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong data interpretation and insight-generation capabilities
- Power BI / BI tool certifications are an added advantage
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
