Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Biryani Chef/Cook based in Herafi Ardiya, Kuwait. The Biryani Chef/Cook will be responsible for preparing different types of traditional and innovative biryani dishes with attention to detail. The role includes planning menus, ensuring food quality and presentation, and maintaining hygiene standards in the kitchen. The Chef will collaborate closely with the culinary team, ensure proper inventory management, and meet the restaurant's high standards for taste and service.
Qualifications
Expertise in preparing traditional and fusion biryani dishes with a strong grasp of related techniques and recipes
Strong knowledge of ingredient selection, marination, and spice blending to enhance flavors
Proficiency in maintaining food safety, hygiene practices, and kitchen cleanliness
Strong organizational and multitasking skills for managing time effectively and executing orders promptly
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work collaboratively with the culinary and service teams
Prior experience in a similar role in a restaurant or hotel setting; specialization in South Asian cuisine is a plus
Passion for culinary innovation and dedication to upholding high standards in food quality and presentation
