Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Bakery and Pastry Chef for a full-time, on-site role located in Kuwait. This role involves designing and preparing pastries, bread, and other baked goods while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Responsibilities include handling ingredients, managing kitchen operations effectively, experimenting with new recipes, and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in baking techniques, pastry preparation, and creating a variety of baked goods
- Experience in developing and experimenting with recipes, flavor profiles, and creative designs
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and efficient kitchen management
- Capability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and time management skills
- Teamwork, communication, and leadership skills for managing and guiding kitchen staff
- Culinary certification or equivalent experience in baking and pastry arts is a plus
