Mechanical Engineer

WE’RE HIRING - Mechanical Engineer (Oil & Gas)
Location: Kuwait

Purpose:
To supervise and ensure safe, quality, and timely execution of mechanical construction activities, particularly
piping and pipeline works, in compliance with project specifications and standards

Key Responsibilities:
Construction Supervision
• Supervise piping fabrication, installation, erection, and pipeline laying activities at site
• Monitor daily mechanical works and ensure execution as per approved drawings and procedures
• Resolve site technical issues related to mechanical construction
Quality & Compliance
• Ensure all mechanical works meet KOC specifications and international standards
• Witness and verify welding, NDT, hydro-testing, and flushing activities
• Conduct regular site inspections and surveillance on mechanical installations
Coordination & Reporting
• Coordinate with QA/QC, HSE, Civil, and Electrical teams for smooth progress
• Prepare daily and weekly mechanical progress reports and punch lists
• Participate in joint inspections with client representatives
Material & Safety Management
• Verify material receiving, storage, and installation compliance
• Support pre-commissioning and mechanical completion activities
• Promote safe working practices and HSE compliance during execution

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering & KSE Membership is mandatory
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Oil & Gas site construction
• Proven experience with KOC / KNPC / KIPIC / JO in piping/pipeline projects
