We're Hiring: Civil Engineer (Bilingual)
Location: Kuwait
Type: Full-Time
Zaleej Real Estate Co. is looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to provide the technical engineering backbone for our development projects — from site investigation and infrastructure design through to on-site technical supervision across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments in Kuwait.
If you have strong design discipline, hands-on site experience, and a deep understanding of Kuwait's engineering codes and approvals - this could be your next move!
What You'll Do:
✅ Conduct site investigations and analyse topographical, soil, and environmental data
✅ Design site infrastructure — roads, utilities, drainage, retaining structures, and grading
✅ Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations
✅ Approve contractor shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
✅ Provide on-site technical supervision and resolve RFIs and design clarifications
✅ Ensure compliance with the Kuwait Engineering Code and Municipality regulations
✅ Liaise with Municipality, MPW, EPA, Civil Defence, and MEW for permits and approvals
✅ Coordinate with architects, MEP, structural consultants, QSs, and surveyors
What you bring:
🔹 Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
🔹 5+ years in civil engineering on real estate / construction projects in Kuwait or the GCC
🔹 Active KSE membership (or eligibility to register)
🔹 Strong knowledge of Kuwait's building regulations, Engineering Code, and Municipality approvals
🔹 Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS
🔹 Demonstrated experience in site planning, infrastructure design, drainage, and construction supervision
🔹 Bilingual Arabic/English fluency
🔹 Valid Kuwait Driving License & Transferable Article 18 residency
