Job Opportunity: Electrician (Oil & Gas)
Location: Kuwait
Availability: Immediate Joiner
Employment Type: Local Hire Only (Article 18 Transferable Visa in Kuwait)
Note:
Candidates must currently be in Kuwait holding a valid Article 18 transferable visa
Immediate availability required
Oil & Gas field experience is mandatory
We are seeking skilled and experienced Electricians to carry out installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems in Oil & Gas project sites. The ideal candidate should be capable of working in field environments, ensuring safe execution of electrical works in compliance with project specifications, drawings, and HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and cable schedules
Carry out cable laying, termination, glanding, and tagging activities
Inspect and troubleshoot electrical faults in field equipment and systems
Ensure all work is performed according to safety standards and permit-to-work system
Assist in commissioning activities and functional testing of electrical systems
Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in safe and good condition
Coordinate with supervisors and engineers for site execution activities
Follow all HSE procedures and wear proper PPE at all times
Report daily work progress and site issues to supervisors
Required Skills & Qualifications:
ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
Minimum 3–6 years of experience as Electrician in Oil & Gas industry
Strong knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Ability to read electrical drawings and technical documents
Good understanding of industrial safety practices and PTW systems
Physically fit to work in field and site conditions
Basic communication skills in English
Preferred:
Experience in KOC / KNPC / EPC Oil & Gas projects in Kuwait
Experience in cable termination, panel wiring, and field instrumentation support
Knowledge of hazardous area classification (ATEX / IEC standards)
