Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Piping Superintendent to oversee and manage piping construction activities at Oil & Gas project sites. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in piping installation, supervision, coordination of site activities, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
-Supervise and coordinate all piping construction and installation activities at site
-Ensure piping works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules
-Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, HSE, and construction teams for smooth project execution
-Monitor manpower, materials, tools, and equipment utilization
-Ensure compliance with company policies, project procedures, and HSE standards
-Review piping isometric drawings, P&IDs, and construction documents
-Conduct site inspections and resolve technical and construction-related issues
-Prepare daily progress reports and update project management on site activities
-Coordinate testing, flushing, hydrotesting, and commissioning support activities
-Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to industry standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
-Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
-Minimum 8–12 years of experience in piping construction within the Oil & Gas industry
-Strong knowledge of piping installation, fabrication, and testing activities
-Experience handling large-scale EPC/construction projects
-Good leadership, communication, and coordination skills
-Ability to manage site activities independently and work under pressure
Preferred:
-Previous experience working on KNPC/KOC/major Oil & Gas projects in Kuwait
-Familiarity with international piping codes and standards
-Experience in refinery, petrochemical, or drilling projects will be an advantage
