Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Kuwait City
Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing accounting activities to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Duties include maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements and reports, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, supporting budgeting and financial analysis, performing account reconciliations, and ensuring accurate transaction processing through SAP. The role requires strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls, proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications, analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage accounting functions efficiently and accurately.
Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline
β’ Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, and general ledger management using SAP.
β’ Proficient in financial accounting, account reconciliations, budgeting, financial analysis, reporting, local accounting practices and regulatory requirements
β’ Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, accuracy, integrity, effective communication, and the ability to manage accounting activities independently and efficiently
β’ Must be locally available in Kuwait
