Lead Safety Specialist
Kuwait | Engineering | Full-Time
Responsibilities:
1. Observe Contractor's proposed methods to ensure safety to the workforce, public and other third parties
2. Monitoring the site safety arrangements of the Contractor, ensuring that all workers are in compliance with the safety rules and guidelines
3. Assess the method statements submitted by the Contractor for safe systems of work; review Contractor's QHSE manual at the start of the project
4. Issue safety violation instruction to the Contractor on any breach of safety
5. Inspection of buildings and machines for hazards and safety violations
6. To recommend safety features in new processes and products
7. Report to the Resident Engineer all safety and accident related issues for action
8. Conduct safety training and special meetings/seminars for employees to be aware of the different practices in the workplace
9. Develop comprehensive safety programs at the office and site
Qualifications:
• Requirement open for Western nationals
• Relevant experience of 18-20 Years
• Required Bachelor's/Master's in Engineering, Occupational Health, or Safety Management
• Certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, CSP or equivalent
• Skills: Risk analysis, regulatory knowledge, communication, leadership & training delivery
